    Thank you I was just watching the history channel this week WWII in HD they did this on the titles it looks very cool and now I know how to do this. Cant wait to try it out

      Before there was 32 bit float in AE, there was a plugin cllaed eLin. While the plugin parts are now covered by After Effects you can see the amazing power of the dynamic range it provides even in scenes without the extra bright information. The difference IS VERY noticeable!

        Yep.. eLin was developed at the Orphanage, across the hall from a guy that started a software company. This was where Sean Safreed (founder of Red Giant) and Stu Maschwitz (creative director of Magic Bullet) met and history was made.
