After consideration, I wasn't happy with the commenting system and requiring users to register on the site to avoid captcha codes.  I also thought the look and feel was a little clunky.  So, before we get too far, I switched to a commenting system based on Disqus, which works more smoothly, looks better and has more options.  If you do feel like registering with Disqus, you can have a nifty avatar, like me!!
